CLASS 140 FIRST RIDDEN Open to ponies upto 14.2hh – child 12 years and under, no lead reins. Competitors required to walk and trot as a group, and canter if possible in individual. CLASS 141 RIDDEN PONY Open to ponies upto 14.2hh – no lead reins. Competitors required to walk, trot and canter in figure of 8. CLASS 142 Pony Club Pony Open to ponies upto 14.2hh – for 25 years and under, no lead reins. Competitors required to walk, trot as a group canter as a group and do one small jump. Riders must be 18 years or over on the day of the competition. Class will be judged under “Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain” rules. Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair Qualifier. The first three prize winners will qualify for the final of the Stewarts Building Services/British Horse Society Working Hunter Series which will be held at Blair Castle in August 2017. To be eligible for the final either the rider or the owner must be a member of the British Horse Society. Note: A water tray may be included in the jumping course for this class. Fergusson Trophy & Rosette RESERVE CHAMPION : Special Rosette RULE: HORSE/PONY SHOULD NOT BE ENTERED INTO MORE THAN 2 CONSECUTIVE SHOWJUMPING/WORKING HUNTER CLASSES. RULES (Competitors must read these rules before submitting entries, and must agree to abide by them) 1. The decision of the judge in each class is final. 2. Showjumping classes will be held under BS rules where applicable. 3. Horses must be at least 4 years old for ridden classes. 4. Competitors must be correctly dressed both when competing and when walking the courses. A hat complying with British Standards recommendations must be worn at all times when mounted, including when competing in the Fancy Dress class. 5. Trainers may not be worn at any time when mounted! 6. Competitors must come into the ring mounted and correctly dressed for prize giving. 7. Complaints must be handed in at the Light Horse Section secretary’s caravan in writing, with a £15 deposit, immediately upon conclusion of the relevant class. The deposit will be returned if the complaint is upheld. 8. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. 9. The committee of Stirling Agricultural Show Light Horse section reserves the right to refuse entries. 10. No refunds for classes withdrawn, classes may be swapped if numbers allow. 11. An extra £2 per class will be charged for entries on the day. 12. Horse/pony may not be entered into more than two consecutive Showjumping or Working Hunter Classes. Remember: Entries close on 01 June 2017 for names to appear in the programme. After that date entries will be taken on a “first come first served” basis, and entries on the day can only be guaranteed in show jumping classes.
