An opportunity exists for an individual with the right blend of skills and experience to join
our Strategic Procurement Division;
BUYER (FOOD)
SALARY: £22,218 - £28,636 per annum
ESPO currently has an opportunity at Buyer level within its Strategic Procurement Division.
You will work closely with ESPO’s Member and Client Local Authorities assisting them in a wide
variety of procurement projects and establishing contracts for the delivery of a diverse range of
food, drink and supporting services.
Whilst membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is strongly desirable, an
equivalent qualification or knowledge of Food and Drink would be an advantage. We require a
team player with procurement or commercial experience coupled with strong interpersonal,
communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, drive, a flexible approach and
looking for a challenge.
