Transition: We will be working closely with Year 1 this month to ensure a smooth transition. This will include; visits to their new classroom/play room, Assembly, Playground and Canteen. Suggested activities to do with your child at home: * Talk to your child about moving to Primary School and their new teacher. This is a very important time for your child. Be positive in your conversations and support your child during the settling in period. * The most important gift you can give your child is TIME. Even a short amount of quality time each day away from T.V. and computer games will help his/her development and provides further opportunities for attention & listening. * Go for a walk and look for mini-beasts - under stones, logs etc. Important Dates Nursery Trip to Castlerock – Friday 3rd June 2016 – see separate letter for details.
