Premiere at MEMENTO: a new electric hearse by Melex
Soon the offer of the Melex company will be enriched with a new model of
electric hearse - the premiere of the vehicle will take place in November at the
MEMENTO Fair in Poznań (17-19.11.2016).
Melex has been producing electric vehicles for 45 years. The days when these were only
golf carts sent overseas have long since passed into history. Today, our factory produces
each year about 1,000 vehicles in more than 100 different versions. They are mainly
exported to Australia, various European countries, and even Argentina.
For years, the company has been offering
special vehicles, including electric hearses.
Model 379 N.Car is an example of proven
construction, appreciated not only by Polish
customers. In addition to the original design, it
stands out against the competition thanks to its
modern technological solutions, which translate
into the comfort of the vehicle use, its reliability
and trouble-free service. Other advantages of
the Melex vehicles, such as low noise, no
emissions, and compact size, also make the
users convinced to use them. In addition, each vehicle produced by us is created for
individual orders, which allows us to adapt the vehicle to the specific needs of the client. It is
easy to choose the right vehicle to transport both people and technical equipment. The offer
of the Melex company is constantly updated with new models and specialized versions.
We are currently working on a new hearse, which is to have its premiere later this year,
during the Memento Fair in Poznań. It will be built on the basis of the newest family of
Melex 4xx vehicles. The first vehicle of the series made its debut last year. Until today, 9
models of the new series have been introduced to the market. Large, circular headlights
refer to the first Melex vehicle models, which were produced in the factory 45 years ago.
The LED daytime running lights located below highlight the modernity of the entire
structure. In addition to the original design, 4xx series vehicles are characterized by
multi-link front suspension, which significantly increases driving comfort.
The new hearse model will be equipped with special, designed form scratch construction
of the rear of the vehicle. Perhaps in addition to a modern shape, you will find there
completely new finishing materials as well. Like the currently available models, the new
Melex will be also equipped with practical handles for wreaths, a solid roof and glass
windscreen with a wiper and washer jet.
In addition to hearses, in the company's offer one may also find vehicles equipped with a
special structure for transporting wreaths. In many countries it is also becoming
growingly popular to use passenger vehicles for mourners. The managements of some
cemeteries also decided to purchase specialized vehicles to transport people in
wheelchairs.
Each year, approximately 1,000 new Melex vehicles leave the factory in Mielec. The most
popular model is the Melex 391 N.Car luggage vehicle with the capacity of 1,000 kg. The
main sales markets, in addition to Poland, are the Scandinavian countries, Italy and
Croatia.
