The Wellness Community Logo Usage and Marketing Materials Guidelines Logo The National Office will provide a personalized logo template to each facility. The logo should be used as designed and printed on a white background on all materials. The logo may be printed in either red and black or all black. The color red in the logo is PMS 186. This red should only be used on “wellness” and the dot on the “I”. The font is Futura. Please note that when using “The Wellness Community”, the initial “T” is always capitalized. Tagline The required Wellness Community tagline is: cancer support, education and hope Letterhead, Envelopes, Business Cards and Notepads Personalized templates for letterhead, envelopes, business cards and notepads are provided to each facility by the National Office. Use of the templates for letterhead, envelopes and business cards as designed is required. Notepads are optional, and the design is provided as a guideline. All of these materials should be printed on white stock. You will arrange and pay for your own printing of these materials. Brochures The Wellness Community-National will send you a template for a general brochure. The design is optional, and if used, may be personalized for each local facility’s needs. Although the design is optional, please follow these guidelines when designing and printing brochures: If a descriptor is used in your print materials, use the following: A free program of support, education, and hope for people affected by cancer. Brochures should be printed on white stock. The logo should be on a white background and printed in either red and black or all black. All colors used in brochures should be consistent with the red and black in The Wellness Community logo. The colors in the design provided by National are red and black with scaled shades of red and black. Calendars All calendars should be printed on white stock. If printed in two-color, the calendar should be red and black. One-color calendars should be black and white. It is the preference of the National Office that calendars be printed in two-color. There is no required design for calendars, and samples will be provided by the National Office. Newsletters Each facility is provided with a template for a newsletter masthead. Use of this design is optional and the template is provided as a guideline. All newsletters are to be printed on white stock with the logo printed in either red and black or all black. Each Wellness Community is to publish a newsletter in Spring and Fall. Winter and Summer newsletters are optional. Website The following guidelines are required of all new facilities: All Wellness Communities are required to use the design template provided by the National Office. New facilities’ websites will be a part of the National website. The URL promoted in all print materials is www.thewellnesscommunity.org. Several sample documents are included on the Best Practices CDROM including a gift/donor envelope. Instructions: To use the logos: 1) While inside Word, pull down the insert menu and select ‘picture…from file.’ 2) Navigate through windows to the cd, and select desired logo. 3) The picture will appear in the Word document, you can then resize the logo (if needed) by holding down the shift key, and dragging the little boxes surrounding the placed logo in the document. If shift key is not held down before dragging, the logo will not size proportionately. Logo useage guidelines: Color The Wellness Community color is PMS 186. Do not use a red “wellness” without the red dot on the “i.” Do not place the tagline above the city. Size In order to ensure that the logo is completely legible when reproduced, it should not be reduced below the minimum size indicated. Minimum width is 1.25” Typography PC fonts are Futura and Futura Bold. Mac fonts are LFuturaH FuturaH
