OPCMIA Local 222 has renewed a no-cost $3,000 Accidental Death &
Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit for all members with American Income Life
Insurance (AIL in Canada). You will be receiving a letter from Jim Conway which will
explain the benefit and outline other no-cost benefits available to members such as
eyewear discounts and Child Safe Kits.
Members that want to designate a beneficiary to the AD&D benefit, should return
the yellow card enclosed with their letter. A representative from AIL will arrange
to meet with you to deliver your certificate of coverage and to witness your
signature for beneficiary designation. They will also provide you with information
about other insurance programs if you are interested.
NOTE: This benefit is not part of your Union Health and Welfare Program. It is a
no-cost benefit for you by virtue of being a member of OPCMIA Local 222.
