No one will be allowed onto the ice before 6:00am, with hole drilling not starting until 7:00am. NOTE: Only live fish will be measured. No frozen fish will be accepted under any condition. All Colorado Fishing rules and regulations apply. Please consult your current 2016 rules and regulations, and be aware of rule changes. Only one cash prize will be awarded to any entrant. In the event the winning tagged fish is also one of the top ten largest fish, two cash prizes will be awarded to that entrant. Each winner is responsible for paying any and all taxes on any prize won to the extent required by law. Cash prizes will be given out or mailed, if necessary, for prize winning game fish (Sucker Fish, Round Tail Chub, or Northern Pike will not be judged). A $20 bounty will be in effect for Northern Pike during the tournament. Fish, licenses and entry forms will be checked before distributing prize money. Prizes will be given out at 4:30pm on the back stage of the Visitor Center in the Kremmling Town Square the day of the contest. Tagged Fish: Potential winning catches must be presented to the contest director(s), WITH TAG ATTACHED, for claim verification. No prize will be awarded unless the fish and tag are presented, still attached to each other, and Claimant and Sponsor have complied, with each term and condition herein. Only those participants officially entered in the fishing contest who complies with the terms and conditions of the Sponsor’s Official Rules and Regulations shall be eligible for the prize. PLEASE NOTE: Once a tagged fish is presented to the contest director he/she will call the insurance company toll free number for the winning tag number. There are 15 tagged fish for the 2016 contest and only one will be eligible for the cash prize. Also be advised that this is the ninth year we have offered a tagged fish and it is possible to catch a fish from previous years that will not be eligible for the cash prize. Any merchandise prizes must be claimed in person, beginning at 4:30pm on the back stage of the Visitor Center in the Kremmling Town Square the day of the contest. All entries, fish and fishing licenses, if applicable, must be present to claim a prize. Transportation to pick up the prizes is up to the winner. Official time clock will be at the Judging Tent. Placing for prizes is based on length and girth of game fish caught by registered individual during the hours of 7am – 3pm on the day of the contest. Fish that appear frozen will not qualify and will not be accepted for judging. In the event of a tie, the first fish registered during the day of the contest wins. For example, if three 35-inch fish are the largest fish entered, the fish registered the earliest will take 1st place, the second fish registered will take 2nd, etc. Only fish caught during contest hours, 7am – 3pm on the day of the contest will be eligible. Any violation of contest rules, Colorado fishing laws or Grand County laws brought to the attention of the Chamber Board of Directors, the Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, the Colorado Division of Wildlife or Colorado River Water Conservation District, will subject the violator to review for prize eligibility by the Kremmling Chamber Board of Directors. Only registered anglers may win prizes. Unregistered anglers in your party may jeopardize the validity of a fish caught by a registered entrant. Irresponsible use of motor vehicles or OHV (including snowmobiles) on ice by any member of fishing party may result in disqualification of entire party. NOTE: State of Colorado OHV/Snowmobile age restrictions will be enforced. Current OHV Registrations are encouraged. The Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce and Board Members, the Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, Colorado Division of Wildlife and the Colorado River Water Conservation District and our sponsors claim no responsibility for accidents or injuries on either thin ice areas or the surrounding reservoir as a whole. You are on the premises at your own risk! Pre-registration forms must be complete and have the fishing license number or they will not be considered a valid entry. Children 15 and under are FREE. Children may enter as an adult by paying the registration fee, and will consequently be eligible to win any adult prizes, including cash prizes. If you decide to take your self, an automobile, snowmobile or 4-wheeler onto the ice, you do so at your own risk! The Kremmling Chamber Board and Staff, the Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, Colorado Division of Wildlife and the Colorado River Water Conservation District claim no responsibility. By signing the registration, competitors are giving the event producers permission to use competitor photos for marketing purposes. Please keep the area clean.
