All open limit Texas Hold’em tables are eligible for the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP). The eligible tables must have 5 or more active players. No jackpot rake will be collected when there are less than 5 active players. Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) will not be awarded if there are less than 5 active players at the commencement of the hand. In order to win the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) the losing hand must be a minimum of aces full of jacks beaten by four of a kind or better. Players must use both hole cards to make up the contents of their hand. A showdown is required by a minimum of two players to qualify for the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP), a mucked hand will immediately disqualify the player from winning the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP). Participating players must contribute $1.00 from each of their winning poker pots to the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) once the pot reaches a minimum of $20.00 Any poker player may choose not to participate in the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP). The player must present government issued photo identification, and complete a non participant form (available from the Gaming Supervisor). Once declared a non participant; the $1.00 jackpot rake will not be collected from that player when they win a poker pot. As a non participant, the player is not eligible for any portion available at the time of declaring. Once the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) has been won, a non participant must notify the Gaming Supervisor to retain and reinstate their “nonparticipant” status. When the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) criteria is met and the Jackpot is won, all players that receive a portion of the jackpot will be required to provide government issued photo identification, as well as print and sign his or her name on a Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) winning form. The Gaming Supervisor will review the non participant forms to ensure that any of the active players of the winning table are not on the form – if it is, that player will not be eligible for the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP). Winning the Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) The Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) shall be paid the days posted amount, with the loser of the hand receiving 50% of the jackpot, the winning hand receiving 25% of the jackpot, and the remaining active players equally receiving their portion of the remaining 25% of the Jackpot. The Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot (BBJP) will reset to the daily audited seed value.
