ITALY
Italy is a large Mediterranean country, with a development of e-government just above EU
average and quite low expenditure in research.
It has no dedicated research programmes on e-government at the national level, but some
interesting cases at the regional level. Also, national programme include priorities potentially
relevant for e-government.
