SOME OF OUR ACTIVITIES:
Over the 3 weeks we will be talking about animals and their different
habitats: Ocean/Polar/Savanna/Rainforest
1. We will be making pictures of different habitats and the animals that
live there.
2. Make a parrot from the Rainforest
3. Shh! A Mother’s Day surprise!
4. Count and clip with ocean and zoo animals
5. Zoo lacing cards
6. Zoo Bingo
8. Fish for a fish and sort them into groups
9. Listening Center: Way Down Deep in the Deep Blue Sea
10. Upper to lower case match-ups
11. Put the animal in his habitat game

Underhand Air Toss: a) extend throwing arm backwards by your hip with palm
facing forward; b) move straight arm forwards in one motion with open palm
pointing out in front of you
Catching Air: a) place arms in “ready” position (arms straight out in front of
body, palms up); b) scoop up the air and hug it into your body
