Please be aware that the Ericsson RRUS32 series installation requirements are
different from previous models.
The Main subject to take Notice on this model is the MAXIMUM ground wire size has changed to
a #2 and the Breaker size is dependent on the specific model (20 or 30 amp).
This requirement will be in effect for every site that is constructed after 6-1-2016.
RRUS 32 Series Specifications:
› CPRI 2 ports x 10 Gbps. Install 2 SFPs and connect 2 fiber pairs to the RRUS32 during initial install.
› Use only Ericsson supplied and approved SFPs RDH10247/3
› 6 external alarm inputs
› Max wind load @ 50m/sec = 350N
› Breaker size varies upon specific model (20A for B30 and 30A for B2 and B66)
› 200mm horizontal separation required for side by side mounting (8 inches)
› 200mm separation required from antenna backplane to radio (8 inches)
› 600mm/800mm vertical outdoor/indoor separation required (24/32 inches)
› Min, Max DC cable size from squid to radio = 10, 8 AWG,
› Adapter is required for 2-wire connection
– Shielded DC cable is required
› Max Ground cable size = 2 AWG
› Dimensions (incl. handles, feet and sunshield)
