As we enter the second year of our ‘Play It Forward’
campaign, we would first like to thank all of our
donors for their outstanding support. We increased
our donations by 22% over the previous year, all
because of you!
Just a reminder that the Kingston Symphony still
needs you! Donations from individuals make up 15%
of our annual budget. Without your generosity, the
orchestra would simply cease to exist. A frightening
thought. If you have not done so already, we ask you
to please renew your donation.
If you are already a donor, we sincerely thank you.
We hope you will continue to support the ‘Play It
Forward’ campaign by increasing your donation or
moving to the next donor level.
If you have donated before but have not lately, thanks

we would like to have you join us again.
If you have never contributed to the Kingston
Symphony, we are asking for your help today. We
hope you see the value of having a professional
orchestra in a city the size of Kingston and will
consider donating so we can ‘Play It Forward’, and
provide a financial cushion to grow the orchestra,
continue to bring in outstanding guest artists,
develop new outreach initiatives, and increase the
size of our program.
To make it more convenient for you, we can divide
your donation into 12 equal payments on your credit
card. For example, a donation of $300 would appear
as a $25 charge each month for 12 months.

who otherwise could not afford it, the opportunity to
attend a Kingston Symphony family concert.

Classically Hip Club: Encourages anyone 35 years
old and under to experience high quality live music
performed by the Kingston Symphony for only $10.
Before the Downbeat: Enhances the concert
experience for all by providing both interactive and
digital initiatives.
Instrument Petting Zoo: Offers children (and adults)
the chance to learn about different orchestral
instruments and try them out for themselves.
Symphony Education Partnership: Provides 3,000
Grade 4 students from throughout our region the
oppourtunity to learn more about classical music and
hear a live performance of the Kingston Symphony.
By donating at least $20 a year, you become a
member of the Kingston Symphony Association.
At each gift level, we feature a number of different
benefits including invitations to receptions, a sneak
preview of upcoming seasons, and opportunities to
sponsor concerts.
