I hereby give permission for my minor child to participate in the RCC Basketball
Summer Camp. I recognize and understand that my minor child will be participating
in activities which may expose my child to some level of risk or injury, that these
risks may or may not be from the actions or inactions of my child or of others
participating in the camp. I fully accept and assume all such risks and all
responsibility for losses, costs and damages my minor child may incur as a result
of participation in the camp. I hereby release, discharge and covenant not to pursue
claims or lawsuits against the Riverside Community College District, or any of its
colleges, its Trustees, officers, employees, agents or volunteers, and if applicable,
owners and lessors of premises on which the activity takes place (all hereinafter
known as “Releasees”) from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on
my account caused by or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence
of my minor child. I further agree, that, if despite this Release, Assumption of the
Risk and Indemnity Agreement, my minor child, or anyone on behalf of my minor
child makes a claim against the Releasees, I will indemnify, save and hold harmless
the Releasees from any litigation expenses, medical expenses, attorney fees, loss,
liability, damage or cost which may be incurred as the result of such claim.
