Aim of the game
Who can navigate the Arabian Night skies the best? Who will be the first
to reach all the treasures marked on the treasure map?
The game board consists of two parts, the bottom half of the game box that
depicts the night skies, and the game board holder. Steps 1–3 explain how
to set up the game board:
1.Take the foldable game board
holderout of the game box and
bend bothside panels towards
the middle andinsert them
into the small slot.
Note: Parts of the game board are magnetic, so that the playing pieces will
either stick to the board or slide off of it. The game board can be placed on
the game board holder in four different ways. That way, the game board is
different from one game to the next to keep you on the edge of your seat.
20 flight path cards in
four different colours
Setting up the game board
Getting started
Each player takes one big and one small flying carpet as well as five
flight path cards, all of which are of the same colour. Place the big
flying carpets in any one of the circle spaces in the middle of the
game board. Lay the five flight path cards next to each other in
front of you on the table. Shuffle the treasure map boards face
down. Each player draws one treasure map board and lays it
down in front of him on the table. Then, each player places his
small flying carpet on the first space to the left (directly below
the night sky) on his treasure map board. Flying carpets and
flight path cards that are not needed for the game can be set aside.
Note: The flight path cards indicate the direction of the flight
path you can take on the game board with your big flying carpet.
The small flying carpets are moved along each player‘s treasure
map board in the course of the game. The small flying carpets on
the treasure map boards show you which treasures you have
already reached and which ones you still have to fly to.

space. Henry‘s green flying carpet flies right into an air pocket and falls two spaces. Now, Henry must
begin his next flight from this position
Time to take flight!
The youngest player starts. Each player takes turns in a clockwise direction.
On your turn look at your treasure map board. It shows which treasure you
have to go to first. Now look at the game board and see where the sky castle
is that holds the treasure that you need first.
Note: You must always retrieve the treasures in the proper order!
In order to retrieve your treasure, pick up one of your flight path cards.
You can turn it in four different directions to determine the direction of
your flight.
Card example
90°
Once you have moved your big flying carpet, lay the flight path card in
front of you, face down. You may no longer use this flight path card for
the next few turns. Only once all your flight path cards are lying face down
in front of you, may you turn them over again for use on your next turns.
Once you have completed your turn, the player to your left may begin
his turn.
Reaching the treasure!
If you have reached the sky castle with the treasure you are looking for, move
your small flying carpet one space forward along the treasure map board.
Special case: If your big flying carpet flies into an air pocket und lands on
the sky castle with the treasure that you need next, you have reached your goal
and you can move your small flying carpet forward along your treasure map.
End of game
Move your big flying carpet according to the arrow on your selected flight
path card. Then, let it go.
The first player to reach all the treasures on his treasure map board, in the
right order, wins the game.
Here‘s what happens now:
In stable conditions, your big flying carpet stays put at its new position on the
game board. If your big flying carpet flies into an air pocket, it will drop a few
spaces, depending on its position on the board, before it comes to a stop. On
your next turn, you have to continue your course from this position.

If one or more of the other players‘ flying carpets is blocking your path, you
can push it in the direction that you want to fly with your own flying carpet.
If one of the flying carpets lands in an air pocket and veers off course, it
must start flying again from this position on the player’s next turn. If by
chance one of the flying carpets has landed on the sky castle with the
treasure that the player needed next, he gets to move his small flying
carpet forward along his treasure map.
