ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur is one of the premium
institutions of India. It was established in 1986 as Regional
Engineering College, a joint and cooperative enterprise of the
Government of India and Himachal Pradesh. The institute was
declared as the institute of national importance under the
Act of Parliament in 2007. It offers Graduate, Postgraduate
and Doctorate education in Engineering, Architecture, Sciences,
Management and Humanities. The Institute emphasises on basic
and applied research by maintaining a close interaction with
the relevant industries and organisations. The institute is
located in the footsteps of Shivalik ranges and provides a
panoramic view of snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges. Over
a period of time, the institute has made its rank among the
leading technical institutions of the country.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Management & Humanities has an
interdisciplinary orientation and expertise in diversified fields
of Communication Skills, Economics, Dynamics of Behavioral
Science and Management in order to cater the needs of B.Tech,
B.Arch., MBA and Ph.D. students of the institute. Faculty
members possess a blend of academic and professional
experience which facilitates disseminating of knowledge to the
students through classroom sessions and independent student
activities.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
National Conference on Management, Economics & Social
Sciences (NCMESS 2017) will provide a major forum for
researchers, academicians and professionals to present their
novel ideas in diversified areas of Management, Economics and
Social Sciences. The conference aims to build a network among
the industries and academia by detecting research demand,
exchanging best practices through experience in a global
context. The focus of the conference will be on the exchange of
information, deliberations, cross fertilisation of ideas and
research outcomes so as to evolve ways and means to address
the practical challenges encountered in all aspects of
Management, Economics and Social Sciences in the changing
scenario and its effects on society. It will also serve as a
platform to challenge and inspire the various stakeholders from
different areas.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Papers are invited for the conference on the following areas
of interest, but are not limited to:
Selection of papers for presentation and discussion will be
based upon a detailed abstract. Abstract must include a clear
indication of the purpose of paper, major results, implications,
key references and keywords. The author(s) should clearly
mention under which area the paper may be included. They
should adhere to the following:

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY
Efforts will be made to publish selected 20 quality papers in
Scopus Indexed Journal* and remaining quality papers will
be published in Edited ISBN Book presented in the
conference, subject to the recommendation of the reviewing
committee. An amount of ` 200 per paper will be charged as
Processing Fee for each publication.

Note: Proceeding of the conference will be provided in Electronic
Form only.

The Registration Fee covers the Conference Kit, Food (2
Breakfast, 2 Lunch &1 Dinner) and Lodging Facility (Night Stay
for 14th July, 2017 on sharing basis). Additional stay facility at
NIT Hamirpur (if available) may be provided at institutional rate
for which reservation should be made in advance.
# Paper to be presented in-absentia will be allowed if organizers find any
genuine reason not to be present in the conference.
## Participants claiming under this category will be considered eligible on
the production of a valid self-attested Documentary/ID Proof attached
with Registration Form.
