The Auction Process.

Auction authenticates participants and grades the
quality of products.
•
Auctions will be held at specific times during the
day and details of each lot to be offered will be
posted on the freshbids website. There will be a
reserve price for each lot offered.
•
Buyers will have to purchase a minimum quantity
for their bid to be accepted. Buyers can pre-bid if
the time of the auction is not suitable.
•
Each auction will run for approx. 30 minutes and
consist of many lots. Buyers will be able to see
the clock face which will count down the time left
in each lot. If all the products are not sold in any
particular lot, the balance may be re-offered in a
later auction (as they will not have been cut this
poses much less issues for the seller).
•
There will be specific times set each week for a
specific auction eg Flowers on Mondays, Meat
on Tuesdays, Seafood of Wednesdays, Coffee on
Thursdays etc.
•
Once a buyer’s bid has been successful they will
receive an online invoice which must be paid by the
buyer in full into a freshbids holding account soon
after the auction.
•
Once the buyer has received the product they
will have 24 hours to advise of any defects in the
produce. Once the 24 hour period has passed, the
sale monies (adjusted for any credit) will then be
remitted to seller
