First Serve THE WELLINGTON TENNIS CLUB NEWSLETTER, AUTUMN 2016 Congrats, club champs The Wellington Tennis Club champs for 2016 were held over a weekend in mid-January, with the winners being: Finlay Deterte (men’s singles); Daisy Wang (women’s singles); Isaac Patterson and Finlay Deterte (men’s doubles); and Zak Dikvert and Neysa Albrecht (mixed doubles). Organisers Ben Leggett (club captain) and Kieran Putt (club committee member) said the weekend was a success and they would be looking to repeat the format in a January weekend next year. Club house renovations Committee member Zak Dikvert, who project managed the club house’s interior renovations, is now working on a plan for the exterior work.
