Most of our programs have gotten where they are because of the outstanding help that we have received from
our outstanding assistant and non-head coaches. This award is an opportunity to recognize an assistant
coach that your program couldn’t do without. The OCCA Assistant Coach of the Year Award (ACOY) is
designed to recognize and honor an assistant cheerleading coach for their excellence in leadership,
motivation, and inspiration and their overall support of their head coach and their program. The nominee
must be a current member of OCCA to be considered as a Finalist.
