Two player multiplication square game The aim of the game is to be the first player to complete your table by filling each gap with a number card. The game is for two players and you will each need a blank multiplication grid. Cut out the coloured coded number cards for your grid and put them in a ’choosing’ pile face down. Take one card from the choosing pile and place it face up to create a ‘discard’ pile. Taking it in turns, decide whether to take a card from the choosing pile or the discard pile. If you can use the card to complete a multiplication fact then place it on your grid. If not place it on the discard pile. If you turn over a wild card you can place this anywhere on your grid but you must say which number it represents. The winner is the first person to complete their grid. © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 22066 Page 1 of 7 Two player multiplication square game Set 1: multiplication grids x 1 10 2 5 0 1 10 2 0 2 5 10 x 5 2 5 10 © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 22066 Page 2 of 7 Two player multiplication square game Set 1: number cards 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 5 50 10 2 20 4 10 100 20 5 0 5 50 10 0 2 20 4 5 50 10 10 100 20 * * * * * * * * © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 22066 Page 3 of 7 Two player multiplication square game Set 2: multiplication grids x 3 4 5 6 3 3 6 4 6 3 5 4 x 5 6 4 5 © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 22066 Page 4 of 7 Two player multiplication square game Set 2: number cards 18 24 30 36 9 12 15 18 15 20 25 30 12 16 20 24 15 15 30 20 18 18 36 24 12 12 24 16 15 15 30 20 * * * * * * * * © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 22066 Page 5 of 7 Two player multiplication square game Set 3: multiplication grids x 4 7 2 9 8 2 10 3 8 10 1 3 x 9 7 1 4 © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 22066 Page 6 of 7 Two player multiplication square game Set 3: number cards 27 16 7 0 20 90 8 18 21 56 32 6 20 10 8 14 50 4 50 70 12 70 4 40 10 9 20 3 5 2 2 72 27 12 * * * * * * © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 22066 Page 7 of 7
