It is JavaScript application with utilization of Dojo toolkit and extends functionality of this toolkit for MOP purposes. Sensor data are from TIMaCS but available in application as XML/JSON text data from REST service. Main window (history mode) Main window of MOP GUI has all presentation features, however there is some configuration dialogs which are accessed from main window. Top toolbar Top toolbar is connected with feature of time range in application. Start and end date Start and end date allows user to set start and end time point of time range which will be used in application. Remember that start time must be earlier than end time. For apply time range it is necessary to do it manually clicking button ‘Apply changes’. Select DEBB Select DEBB feature allows to select concrete TIMaCS structure branch and DEBB file from server. For open “Select DEBB” dialog click same named link. Jump to If it is needed to select particular time on timeline in range it can be done with “Jump to” dialog. Monitoring mode Last functionality of toolbar is switching between modes. Default mode is “History mode” which was shown. There is another mode named “Monitoring” which will be described later. Slider bar Slider bar represents time range and each point within slider is time point relative to selected range. It can be easily accessed with holding “diamond” on slider and slide to change current presented time. It responses as fast as possible and can be used to simulate “play”. Presentation elements Vitrall window Vitrall window is 3D interactive presentation view. It renders three-dimensional model of current machine with nodes and sensors. Each element can be selectable by clicking mouse. Embed configuration For select desired metric and show it on 3D model, select first category and then metric. Gradient of color can be adjusted with manipulating Metric range min and max values. Charts section This section of main window allows to present line charts of metrics data. Chart properties dialog Chart properties dialog allows to select hosts and metrics and generate series of data for them. Manually configurable properties For manually select host and their metrics just select “Properties” from chart menu. From left side tree of hosts check desired. After a while in the middle of dialog there will be available common metrics for selected hosts. Select desired metrics and next click button “Add series” which generate series with Cartesian product of hosts and metrics. Vitrall configurable properties There is an option to select hosts directly from Vitrall window. In this case select “3D view host selection” in properties dialog. It automatically clear selection in hosts and load new if some hosts are selected in Vitrall. In the middle there are all available metrics in TIMaCS and in this case select metrics you anticipate that will fit for further selection of hosts. Chart view If managing properties is done then there are some series visible on chart(s). Under chart view there is legend which allows to switch visibility of particular series. Chart navigation On chart view there are some events available: Scrolling with mouse: zoom in or out x axis Left Click + hold + move mouse: scroll graphs along x axis Mouse on point: shows additional info about point Monitoring mode Switch to monitoring mode Choose link as described in previous section. Top toolbar in monitoring mode Top toolbar in monitoring mode has different functionality as in history mode. At first glance there is no date selection and slider bar. Refresh time Refresh time field allows to set time interval between refresh of charts (in seconds). History time History time set indirect time range which is calculated from current time and start time is current – history length and end time is current. It will be recalculated on each refresh. There are some options to input history length: <number value>min : some minutes to the past, ex. 5min <number value>h : some hours to the past, ex. 1h <number value>d : some days to the past, ex. 2d <number value>mo : months (not recommended) Apply changes Click this button to approve modification of above. Other functions Other function are the same as in history mode if available (visible). Fullscreen mode In history and monitoring modes there is available to show one of charts in fullscreen mode. This option is available in chart menu.
