ENTRY FEES
McKEOWN’S HAULAGE have kindly agreed to refund the entry fee of handlers who
are H.Y.B. Members and present themselves for the Competition on Show Day.

Each entrant in showmanship classes must be a fully paid up member of Holstein Young
Breeders and not have reached their 26th birthday on 1st January 2017.
All exhibits must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor, registered in their name.
Judging for showmanship will be on the ability of the handler only, though the calf should be
clipped and well presented.
Dress Code - White Shirt, White Trousers, Tie and strong shoes/boots.
At the end of the Senior Class all 1st and 2nd placed handlers will parade for the Championship.
Calves and handlers may only show at one area Club Show.

Calves must be registered with Holstein U.K. and be female.
Pedigree certificates and passports must accompany the animals and will be inspected.
A Calf must not be used in more than one handler’s class.
Nominations will not be accepted. Substitutes will be accepted 24 hours previous to Calf
Supervisor.
Calves showing signs of ringworm must have a Vets certificate showing they have been
treated 2 weeks before the Show.
At the end of the Team of 3 Class, all 1st and 2nd placed calves will parade for the Championship,
excluding group placing.
ALL consigned and exhibited livestock must be identified by means of a DEFA approved Official
Mark or Official Tag which must be compliant with current legislation.
