On offense, NorthWest Rankin will go with sophomore Braden Smith at quarterback. Smith has led the Cougar offense to a 22.1 points per game average. In the backfield, NorthWest Rankin leans heavily on senior Ricky Price, who leads the Cougars in every rushing statistical category. At receiver, Smith has a great target in 6’0, 180 lb. senior Gralyn Jones, Jr. Defensively, the Cougars are led by senior strong safety Shelton Wallace, who leads the team in tackles. Also on defense is senior linebacker Cannon Gibbs. Rounding out a good Cougar defense is sophomore free safety Jalen Hoover.
