McNamara and Chair of the Rhode Island Democratic Party, announced Tuesday the move of the state’s Party offices to an office park in Warwick, as part of its effort to broaden its statewide reach in the upcoming 2016 elections. The state Party offices - formerly located at 30 Kennedy Plaza - were moved to 200 Metro Center, Suite One, in Warwick this week, in anticipation of next year’s elections. (The 1600-plus square/foot site formerly housed the Raimondo for Governor campaign headquarters.) It consists of several private offices and larger conference rooms. “Having a centralized location close to Interstate 95, with easy access to our urban core and suburbs, allows volunteers from all across the state to take part in our many campaigns for federal, state and local office,” said the Party Chair. “This will be a busy election year,” he said, “and we need every volunteer we can identify, to get involved and help raise voter participation. With Presidential, Congressional, General Assembly and many city and town elections at stake, we hope to build the mass we need for a Democratic victory upand-down the ballot.” The offices are open daily Monday through Friday, from 8:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. For more information or to contact the state Party, email [email protected], or call 401.272.3367. *** COVERAGE INVITED*** ###
