A Letter From a Dad
My dearest Star,
Your mom vomited five times today. It was a little better than
yesterday. I think you must have helped a little by being a good
baby in your mom’s tummy.
Since we knew we had you in Mom’s tummy, your mom and
I have been looking forward to your coming. However, it is not
easy for your mom. Her body has changed a lot. She feels tired
easily. She can’t sleep well. Her back is often sore when she
stands, sits, and even lies down. She used to eat a lot, but now
she can only eat a little. It’s because she feels like vomiting when
she smells the food.
However, your mom is trying hard to sleep and swallow the
food in her mouth. “Star needs nutrition and a healthy body to
grow up,” she says. Luckily, she can eat something sweet, like
cake or red bean soup. Interestingly, she did not like sweet food
before. “Star must like them, so I should eat more for him,” your
mom says. Now you know how much you mom loves you. She
only wants to give you the best.
There are still seven months to go. Please be a good baby,
help your mom feel better, and remember to love your mom
forever.
Love,
Your Dad
