Occasional crackling is normal; however, frequent or constant crackling may be caused by one of the issues below: There is a small amount of water around the base of the unit. Foreign materials are caught between the FILTER collection plates. Carefully remove any debris. Be careful, do not bend the collection plates. Unit will not turn on. Little or no mist is produced. 22 Ensure the FILTER is properly inserted in the compartment and that the unit is properly plugged into a live wall outlet. Fill WATER TANKS (see page 10). WATER RESERVOIR may be overfilled due to removing and replacing full WATER TANKS multiple times. Remove WATER TANKS and empty the WATER RESERVOIR (see page 18). The FILTER needs to be cleaned. Refer to Cleaning the Filter (see page 13). The FILTER is not completely dry after cleaning. Let it air dry until the crackling stops, or use the Drying Mode function to ensure the FILTER is completely dry (see page 16). RESOLUTION STORAGE Dry the unit completely before storing. DO NOT store with water inside the WATER TANKS or the WATER RESERVOIR.
