A Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) is a report to see if there are
enough pharmacies in an area or if more are needed.
Health & Wellbeing Boards have to complete these reports every three
years. The next one for Brighton & Hove needs to be published in
2018.
The report will be used by the NHS to decide whether to approve
applications for new pharmacies in an area. It is also used to see if there any
gaps that need to be filled in the pharmaceutical services available locally.
You can help us to write the report by telling us what you think of local
pharmacy services. You can do this by completing a questionnaire, either
online or a paper copy. You can also ask someone to help you fill it in.
