This is a story about two teenagers as they befriend a neighbor and share adventures together. You will be able to check out The Pigman by Paul Zindel at your local library, purchase it at a local bookstore or order it online. I recommend calling ahead before going into the library or store. You can find The Pigman by Paul Zindel on Amazon.com for less than $10.00. Attached are worksheets and a project your child is required to complete as they read this story. All answers must be written in complete sentences and thorough. Students can choose from one of the three project choices on the last page. The last page has a rubric for the package. Students are asked to self-evaluate before they hand in the project. I will do a final evaluation and grade on the project. All work will be due in ELA class by Friday, September 9, 2016. This is due the first Friday after school resumes. Thank you for your support in continuing your child’s commitment to reading throughout the summer.
