The Tournament serves as a selection event for Indian passport holders and Karnataka registered are only eligible, who have born on or after 01-01-1992. 2. UKCA Registration of life time can be done, one time membership fee of INR 1000/-. To register for UKCA membership online, please visit www.karnatakachess.com 3. The Tournament will be played on Swiss league basis under latest FIDE Rules. 4. Duration of play: 60 min+30 sec increment from move 1. 5. No of Rounds: Minimum 7-9 rounds. 6. In case of Tie latest FIDE tie break rules will be applied and the prizes will not be shared 7. Player must bring their own chess set. (& chess clock if available) 8. Top 2 players of this championship will represent Karnataka in the forthcoming National U-25 championship. 9. Last date of Entry is 7th June 2017. After that late fee of Rs 200 shall be applied. Player registering on 19th June after 9 am shall be paired from 2nd round. 10. Appeal Committee of 5 members with 2 reserves amongst the official/players present at players meeting shall be formed before the commencement of the tournament. 11. In case of dispute the Tournament Director's/Chief Arbiters decision will be final and binding on all. 12. The organizers/ Arbiter of the tournament have the right to accept or reject any entry without giving any reason. 13. Age Proof: Each participant must submit a valid certificate to prove his/her age. Certificates from Schools are not enough. Certificates should preferably be from the Panchayat, Municipality or Corporation obtained soon after birth. Players without date of birth certificates will not be allowed to participate. 14.** The date of birth certificates registered within one year of the birth of the child alone will be recognized and allowed to participate. Place: Date: SIGNATURE Places of Visit in Gulbarga: 1)Buddha Vihar - A Home of Equality The Buddha Vihar has been constructed under the aegis of the Siddhartha Vihar Trust that was established in 1994. The Vihara hopes to spread the message of peace, compassion and non-violence as taught by the Buddha in order to create a peaceful, egalitarian society where there is tolerance and understanding. The completion of the Vihara is a result of the hard work and generosity of countless workers, volunteers and well wishers towards this noble cause. The Buddha Vihar is located about six kilometers from Gulbarga city on Sedam Road. The Vihara is spread over 24 acres of land and rises 60 feet above the ground level. The Buddha Vihar is situated on a hillock and is on three levels. Each level is about a hundred feet long.
