musclesforactivitiessuchaseating,dressing,andwriting.Physicalactivityconsistsofrecreational
activitiessuchasswimmingorplayingT-ballorsoccer.Unstructuredactivitiesmayincluderiding
tricyclesorplayingattheneighborhoodparkwithotherchildren.Physicalactivitycanbeencouraged
duringeverydayroutinesandplaytimes.

Childrenbenefitfromlovingrelationshipswithfamilymembersandcaregiverswhoareencouraging,
responsive,andavailabletoshareintheirlearningexperiences.Youareyourchild’sgreatestteacher,
becauseyouunderstandyourchildtheverybestandcancreateopportunitiesforlearningthroughplay.
