Quality care….Creative Curriculum… Glory Land Kids Child Care Infant (6 weeks – 14 months) The Infant program is designed to give personal attention to your child. The individualized program will help your child develop with language, baby sign language, gross and fine motor and socialization skills through play. Days are filled with music, dance, story times, sign language and more. For younger infants we do our best to stay on your feeding and sleeping schedule for your child. Toddlers 15 months – 2 years The individualized program will help your child develop with language, baby sign language, gross and fine motor and socialization skills through structure and unstructured play. We work with you and your child on potty training. Preschool (3 years – 5 years) We believe children show much success when involved in hands on learning activities and play. We are a full year educational child care center, our year round curriculum includes circle time, fine/gross motor skills, art, center time (dramatic play, sand/water play, block play and manipulative) science, music, and story time. A We are open Monday – Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our scheduled holiday’s off is enclosed in this brochure. Q What is considered Full Time or Part Time? A Part time is the number of hour your child attend a day (6:00am – 12:00pm) or (12:00pm – 6:00pm) Q What are the Teacher to Child ratio? A While we strive to exceed ratio at all times, our licensor has set the following ratios that we always meet: Infant ......1 to 4 Toddlers …… 1 to 5 2’s ..... 1 to 8 Preschool …. 1 to 10 School Age ….. 1- 20 Q Are the Teachers licensed? A Yes, all Teachers must meet DCFS requirements minimum requirements Associate in Early Childhood Education . Q Do you do background checks on your employees? A Yes, all potential employees are checked through Department of Child Family Services state background checks. Q Do your Teachers have their First Aid and CPR? A Although our licensor only requires First Aid and CPR for 1 person on site we require all employees to hold current certificates in both. We are also required to renew our certificates yearly. Q Do we have to pay for days when children are absent? A Yes, parents are responsible to pay for all days children are contracted for that includes holidays and any other closings due to weather or unforeseen conditions. You will be given a registration package to complete. Once you have received your registration package, complete the packet and return it along with your one-week non-refundable deposit. Information available to any family needing finical assistances upon request. Complete packet and return it with Enrollment Packet (must have Birth Certificate and child physical and immunization records or a letter from physician stating date for appointment before starting day) Before your child’s first day feel free to schedule a trial day, so your child can see the Center, teachers and new friends again. There is no charge for the day. Please note that we do not hold a spot without a contract and a deposit. www.glorylandkidschildcare.com Holiday Closing Schedule Glory Land Kids will be closed on the following holiday’s to allow our employees time off to enjoy with their families. As stated in our Parent Handbook, tuition is due on all of these days unless you are taking and exempted day and have turned your coupon in two weeks ahead of time.
