About The African Youth Leadership Summit
The African Youth Leadership Summit is a 3-days event that focuses on the core
challenges encountered by young African leaders. Through a competitive screening
process, the AYLS brings a diverse group of young delegates from the whole
continent together with distinguished experts, innovators, and leaders in the public,
private, and non-profit sector for a journey of collective exploration, reflection, and
networking. The summit features a mix of workshops and panels and other activities
on entrepreneurship, global citizenship, education and career, gender, leadership,
politics, and innovation. The Summit will take place in Marrakech-Morocco from 21th
to 25th September 2017
About the Competition
The AYLS Pitching Club is a space that aims to offer to our participants the
opportunity to present their project ideas, promote them within the AYLS network,
and apply their business skills and creative thinking to develop a social enterprise
idea that has the ability to change the lives of people in Africa. The Pitching Club is
more than just a competition. Here are some of the benefits of being involved:




Being in contact with expert and influential leader, from different fields and
backgrounds,
Learning from our social enterprise experts and practitioners, who will share
thoughts on their experience from working in social enterprises;

The competition is open only for those who are registered and accepted to
attend the summit;
The project idea must be related to the general theme of the Summit which is
sustainable development goals;
Uncompleted applications won’t be taken into consideration;
The deadline to receive your application is 15/08/2017;
Results announcement: 27/08/2017.
