This session will involve hands-on learning for early mathematical experiences
with young children. Participants will become active learners in foundational
learning of mathematics. This session will focus on making children’s knowledge
more explicit, promoting transfer and providing a foundation for understanding
mathematics not just as a collections of problem-solving techniques but as an
