readings from texts, journals or
additional data gathering from a variety
of sources, including the internet. In this
section, a variety of such references
may be listed.
Possible Teaching Aids
Mention the possible teaching aids to
use with the Case to enhance the
learning of participants. This include
annual report, company brochure,
websites, photos, articles, videos,
visitors to the class.
Discussion Questions for Use in
the Class
To stimulate the class at certain points,
the instructor may wish to prepare a set
of useful questions pertaining to the
Case. Include Set of Qs under this
heading (Besides assignment questions)
Additional Points to Raise
Addl points cover topics outside the
standard assignment questions. These
points may include events prior to the
story line in the Case or afterwords, as
well as relevant other events in the
industry or in the world.
Teaching Suggestions
 This could be
a. Be sure to cover additional readings before
starting the class,
b. Starting with a Vote on the Two alternatives
works well.
c. Identifying all possible alternatives before
discussing any specific one is useful.
Case Teaching Plan
 It covers agenda, time plan, participation plan
and board plan
 Time plan allocates total class time to the
selected topic areas and Case.
 Participation plan identifies whether the
instructor intends to call on specific
participants/wait for volunteers.
 Board Plan- how an instructor can use board
to record points made by participants.
