MEDIA SCHEDULE, COORDINATES FOR GAME THREE OF THE WORLD SERIES
Wrigley Field to Host the Fall Classic for the First Time Since 1945 Tonight on FOX;
Roberto Clemente Award for Outstanding Community Service to Be Presented Pregame
Following are details of Friday’s media availability schedule and satellite coordinates for Game Three of
the 2016 World Series, which is tied at one game apiece, at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Tonight’s contest will mark
the ballpark’s first Fall Classic game since October 10, 1945 (Game Seven vs. DET).
The National League Champion Chicago Cubs are aiming for their first Fall Classic title since 1908, while
the American League Champion Cleveland Indians are in pursuit of their first World Series
Championship since 1948. Game Three’s pitching match-up will feature Kyle Hendricks of
the Cubs and Josh Tomlin of the Indians.
Tonight’s pregame will include the presentation of the 2016 Roberto Clemente Award, the annual
recognition of a Major League player from each MLB Club who best represents the game of Baseball through
extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the
field. The annual Award pays tribute to Roberto Clemente’s achievements and character by recognizing current
players who truly understand the value of helping others.
FOX Sports will provide exclusive broadcast coverage of the 2016 World Series. ESPN Radio will provide
complete coverage of all World Series games. MLB Network, MLB.com, MLB International and SiriusXM also will
provide comprehensive coverage of the Fall Classic.
