participation on "Information Literacy - training models and best practices“, Varna, Bulgaria,
Octomber 18-19, 2012.

THEMES
Experts, academics, students and decision-makers are invited to share their research work and/or
professional experience, with regard to the important role of the Information Literacy in the knowledge
based society of the 21st Century.
First section. Information literacy - research topics, issues and trends. Models of IL training programs and
best practices in universities and libraries. Application of creative and innovative methods of teaching
Information Literacy.
Second section. The role of information literacy in the modern information and educational environment.
PR and marketing programs in promotion of the importance of information literacy and IL programs.

TECHNICAL DETAILS
All papers should be submitted in English or Bulgarian language.
The overall length of a paper should not exceed 15 A4 pages (charts, notes, bibliography included), Times
New Roman, 12 pt, without underline and additional design.
The paper should be accompanied by an English abstract (maximum ½ A4 page) and a short (200 words)
presentation of the author(s).
Registration:
 Registration of Delegates & Authors starts from: July 5, 2012 to 1 Octomber 2012 (see Registration
Form)
Fees and accommodation:
Participation Fee for individual participants: 50 Euro
Participation Fee for firms, organizations etc.: 160 Euro
Payment has to be made from July 5 to Octomber 1st, 2012. Please, transfer the money (after
