Logging into Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS PINSafe Gateway Using your Trust laptop 1) Open Internet Explorer or Google Chrome and browse to the web site address provided in the text message you received from the Trust. This will bring up the PINSafe logon screen: 2) Now Log On – you must do this in the order shown below. Enter your Trust User Name and Password in the first two boxes Then click on the Get Image button 3) You should then be presented with an image displaying a random sequence of numbers: 4) You now need to match the numbers from your four-digit PIN (sent to you via text message) along the top row of numbers. The numbers on the bottom row that correspond to your PIN will be your One Time Code. For example: if your PIN code is 1632, then you would read off the first, sixth, third and second numbers from the bottom line of numbers in the image. In the above screenshot, this would correspond with the numbers 2, 9, 8 and 0. If you find it difficult to read the digits in the image, click the Get Image button again to generate a new image; then try again. It is better to do this than to guess incorrectly, as too many incorrect attempts will lock out your PINSafe account. 5) Once you have matched all four numbers, enter them into the One Time Code box and click the Log On button: If you get locked out If you enter the wrong User Name, Password or One Time Code too many times, your PINSafe account will become locked out. In order to unlock the account, you will need to call the IT Service Desk on 0115 9555350 between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Fri. Changing your password If this is the first time you have logged on, the system may ask you to change your password. Your new password must conform to the following standards: Must be at least 8 characters in length Must include two or more of the following: uppercase and lowercase letters; numbers; symbols Must not match part or all of your username Unable to log on? If you are unable to log on, double check to make sure that you have entered your User Name and Password correctly, and that you have used your PIN correctly to read off the four digits from the image. If you are having trouble loading the PINSafe logon screen, double check that you are entering the website address exactly as it is written in the text message you received from the Trust.
