A chance of a lifetime for our Haddon Heights kids! Help them get To Michigan state university! Please help our gifted 6th graders of Haddon Heights raise funds to offset the cost of travel to the World Finals of Odyssey of the Mind! They participate in the Accelerated Enrichment program which competes in a national creative problem solving competition called Odyssey of the Mind. They are State Champs, advancing to the World Finals May 22-25 at Michigan State University (a first for our district!). This is an international competition as well as a cultural experience, with 25 countries as far away as China, Sweden and Singapore representing. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for this special group of dynamic young minds. They were 2012 State Champs but heartbreakingly couldn't attend Worlds last year. This trip is not affiliated with their school for policy/legal reasons, (No PTG money etc.) so they’re diligently trying to fundraise for themselves. Each student is responsible to pay their way, and any donations will help offset their cost, even the smallest gesture will go a long way….to Michigan! Please consider supporting this academic endeavor! Your very much appreciated donation will help them with registration, transportation and lodging, $6000 is their goal. Please help make this creative possibility become a reality! Donations can be made to Peggy Iuvara, 1730 Prospect Ridge Blvd, Haddon Hts NJ 08035 and a GoFundMe donation page has been set up online at http://www.gofundme.com/2lyxfc Find us on Facebook at Ootm Haddon Heights! Thank you in advance, Nicholas Koehn, David Iuvara, Kayli Knipfer, Kris Newcomb & Jack Corcoran
