4 Points for discussion
4.1 Accreditation at Birdwood Estate
Paul van Loggerenberg from Zenith suggested that the accreditation at
Birdwood Estate should be a cash deposit of R 5000.00 payable once and
thereafter the implementation of a penalty structure for any offenses by the
Estate Agents. This issue will be referred to the next Board meeting.
4.2 Signed copy of Estate Rules with offer to purchase in Birdwood Estate
A signed copy of the Birdwood Estate Rules & Regulations must be handed to
the manager’s office upon registration of any property sold within Birdwood
Estate.
4.3 Advertizing board with accredited Estate Agents details
An advertizing frame will be erected at Gate 1 and Gate 3 for all accredited
Estate Agencies. The agencies are responsible for their own advertizing board
and Graeme Peplar of Chas Everitt will inform us of the board size currently
used at another Estate.
4.4 For Sale boards in Birdwood Estate
One For Sale board is allowed at sole mandate properties from Friday 17H00
to Sunday 17H00. The existing For Sale boards currently displayed in
Birdwood Estate will be removed and stored at the clubhouse. The agents are
welcome to pick the boards up during office hours.
4.5 List of Show Houses during weekends
A list of show houses have to be handed in at the managers office by the
Wednesday before the show weekend. The Agent’s contact details must be on
the list.
4.6 Show period 15 December – 10 January
No change to the rules
4.7 Security
Agencies that are not accredited at Birdwood Estate will not be allowed to
enter the Estate. No accredited Agent will be allowed to enter the Estate
without a valid access card. Visitors to show house will have to sign the
visitors register and the Agent will be contacted by the security officer. Agents
must sign the visitors tear off slip.
