Mini-Volleyball:
Entering Grades 2, 3, 4
Mini-volleyball is a modified version of volleyball that introduces young people to the game in an innovative
and fun way. Players may be divided to into age/skill/experience appropriate groups.

1pm-2:30 pm
Cost: $50
Grades 5 and 6
Focus is on fundamental skills, teamwork, and concepts of the game. On the last day, players will participate in
a round-robin tournament.

Cost: $60
Grades 7 and 8
Builds on fundamentals and prepares players for higher levels of volleyball, including strategic game
situations. On the last day, players will participate in a round-robin tournament.

Freshmen
Open to all incoming freshmen. Basic skills, offense, defense, and game strategies are covered. Focus will be
on preparing the athlete for high school-level competition.

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
Focus on advanced skills, strategy, and teamwork. Players are expected to have an advanced knowledge of
volleyball, as well as prior game experience. Cost includes 4 summer league sessions (located at Sky High Athletic
Center in Crystal Lake).

All campers will receive a T-shirt. Camps will be conducted by the Marian Central Catholic Hurricane Volleyball coaching staff, as
well as current and former players.
