GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE COMPETITIONS
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions of the competition determine the general rules concerning the conditions of
participation for all competitions that Montebi NV organizes via its website or other online channels (like
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter) or by any other means.
If specific conditions for a contest apply, a specific competition regulation will also be drawn up for that
competition. Those terms of a specific contest regulation will take precedence over conflicting terms of
the general contest rules.

2. Terms of participation
2.1. In principle the contest of Montebi NV is open to anyone who is 18 year or older, except for employees
of Montebi NV and their immediate families to the first degree. Minors may not participate in a competition
except for explicit permission of both parents or their guardian. If a minor participates in a contest, Montebi
NV assumes that he/she has permission from his/her parents or guardian. If the minor cannot submit this
permission, he or she can be denied further participation in the contest at any time, as well as his/her right
to any prize he or she might win.
2.2. Except for communication costs associated with participation (e.g. landline number, SMS, MMS, …), the
participant will not be charged for nor pay any fee to Montebi NV for participating in a contest.
2.3. Only 1 member of one family - in the sense of a nuclear family or persons living at the same address
- can win a prize within the framework of one contest. After winning a prize the participant cannot win
during 4 consecutive weeks after notification of winning any other prize within the framework of contests
organized by Montebi NV. In case the participant would be selected for two or more simultaneously ongoing contests of Montebi NV, the participant can only win the prize of the contest in which he participated.
2.4. The winner of a contest has to comply with all participation conditions. If he doesn’t comply he automatically loses his rights to a prize, without any compensation nor any recourse.
3. Organisation of the contest
3.1. If it concerns a common knowledge question, the participant should give the right answer. Should more
than one participant enter a right answer, the winner will be determined by a tiebreaker or by lottery.
3.2. In case the contest needs a creative input of the participant - like for instance a picture, a drawing (or
painting), text or video - the winner or winners are determined by Montebi NV based upon predetermined
selection criteria. By participating in a competition with creative input, the participant allows Montebi NV
to use any creative input, without owing any compensation and without restrictions neither in time nor
space:
The participant declares to have the required rights (intellectual property rights and personal rights) to
use this creative input and grants indemnity to Montebi NV against all claims regarding his creative input.
This therefore means that any creative contribution must be authentic and must have been created so that
there is no copyright or other protected intellectual property material of any third party (unless he/she has
all needed permissions of the intellectual owner). Montebi NV is by no means obliged to publish a creative
contribution and can at any time and for whatever reason remove a creative contribution.
4. Prizes
4.1. The prize can by no means be swapped or converted in money.
4.2. Montebi NV may change a prize at any time due to production or content-related reasons.
4.3.The prize is limited to the “naked prize, as detailed in the specific rules of the contest or by any other
means.
4.4. If the prize is a voucher to participate in a specific activity (like an event, a guided tour) the prize is
just that unless otherwise stated. The activity organiser determines all conditions. He can, for instance ask
to be present at a specific hour or place and participation can be limited in time. If the winner cannot be
present at the specified time for whatever reason, he cannot claim any compensation from Montebi NV or
the organiser. If the organiser cancels the activity for whatever reason, the winner cannot claim an alternative prize or a financial compensation. If the prize is a gift voucher, the validity may be limited in time. If the
winner does not redeem the voucher within the time limit for whatever reason he cannot claim compensation from Montebi NV or the organiser denies access right for participating in a certain activity (such as an
event, guided tour ...) then the prize is only the entrance voucher, unless otherwise stated. The organiser of
the activity stipulates all terms and conditions. He could for instance request to be present at a certain hour
or at a certain place, or restrict the access rights in time. If the winner, for some reason or another, cannot
be present at the required time, he cannot claim an indemnity or a compensation from Montebi NV and/or
the organiser. If the organiser cancels the activity for whatever reason, the winner cannot claim any other
prize or any financial compensation.
4.5. If the prize is a voucher, the validity can be limited in time. If the winner, for whatever reason, cannot
redeem the voucher before the expiry of the validity, he cannot claim an indemnity or a compensation of
Montebi NV and/or the organiser.
4.6. If the prize consists of objects for which a guarantee is applicable, then the right to guarantee can be
claimed directly upon the manufacturer, importer or the merchant.
4.7. If the prize involves travelling the participant must at least be 18 years old (or accompanied by an adult)
and in possession of a valid passport. Travel insurance and personal expenses are not paid by Montebi NV,
unless stated in the specific prize description. The departure date is arranged by the travel agency, which
determines all terms of departure, not the winner of the trip. The winner has a certain determined period to
redeem the trip. The winner who, for whatever reason does not redeem the trip, cannot claim an indemnity
or compensation of Montebi NV and/or the organiser. The prize will then be available for Montebi NV and/
or the organiser. The travel is always on the name of the winner and cannot be, by any means swapped or
redeemed in money, by whatever means. It is also forbidden to offer the prize for free or in an auction by
whatever means, like for instance (not exhaustive) on websites. Nonetheless, where it appears that the winner offers the prize for sale Montebi NV has the right to withdraw the prize or to recover it. In that case the
winner cannot claim any compensation. The prize is again available for Montebi NV and/or the organiser.
5. Liability of Montebi NV
5.1. Montebi NV cannot be held responsible for any damage, lesions or accidents that might occur due to
winning a prize and/or participation in a competition.
5.2. Montebi NV cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of a prize in case the participant did not provide correct contact information when participating.
5.3 Montebi NV cannot be held responsible for any defects of the post and/or courier companies for the
delivery of a prize (such as delay, damage, strike or loss). If for instance a prize is sent by registered letter
or by courier and cannot be handed out to the winner, Montebi NV cannot be held responsible if the winner
picks up his prize at a later moment. Even if for instance the message got lost or has been badly damaged,
Montebi NV cannot be held responsible. When urgency of delivery of a prize applies (such as admission
rights to an event), the participant can be requested to be available on a right moment. In case of a prize
being non-deliverable Montebi NV can award the prize to another participant, without any recourse. If the
prize is not picked up by the winner within the foreseen period or if he does not meet the required criteria,
the right of the participant to the prize expires and Montebi NV can award the prize to another participant,
without any recourse.
5.4. Printing or spelling mistakes or technical problems (such as e.g. email communication) cannot be invoked as a reason for whatever obligation or liability for Montebi NV.
5.5. If Montebi NV has to postpone, reduce or cancel a competition or change the rules or adapt the formula of the competition, Montebi NV cannot be held responsible for this.
5.6. If the organisation of this competition would be disturbed by a technical incident, Montebi NV would
do all the necessary to neutralize these defects. Montebi NV cannot be held responsible for any disadvantage that would result from these technical incidents. The decision of Montebi NV and the results are
irreversible and binding.
5.7. Montebi NV cannot be held responsible for incidents as a result of accepting the prize by the winner.
Montebi NV cannot assume responsibility or liability for any defect in the prize or if the prize would not
meet the expectations.
5.8. The exclusion or restriction of the liability Montebi NV in this article does not prejudice the fact that
Montebi NV can be held responsible for acting on purpose or serious mistake or these 4 general rules online competitions Montebi NV – November 2014 - this version replaces all preceding versions of its staff or
its agents for non-execution of its major obligations.
6. Personal data
6.1. The personal data of the participants are recorded in a file by Montebi NV. These data are recorded
complying with the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 regarding the protection of privacy. The policy of Montebi NV regarding those personal data can be found under the tab ‘privacy’ as mentioned on the website
of Montebi NV.
6.2. Participants agree by participating that if they win a prize, they might be published with a picture,
name and place of residency on the website and other online channels (like YouTube, Facebook, …), also
on the website and online media of co-organisers, in addition to the paper press and can be recorded for
(television)report about the competition.
7. Surveillance on contests and decisions
7.1. Montebi NV controls the correct organisation of the competition. In case not all terms and conditions
of the rules are being met or in case of abuse, deceit or fraud Montebi NV reserves the right to exclude the
concerned participant of the game and also for other games of Montebi NV. Montebi NV reserves in those
cases the right to request return or a restitution for the loss sustained (including reputational damage).
7.2. The result of a competition is binding and irreversible. It cannot be challenged over the result and the
progress of a competition cannot be communicated (by mail, email or phone) with Montebi NV or the organiser of the competition. Decisions to design winners are final.
8. Co-organisers
If a competition is organised with one or more parties, then these terms refer to Montebi NV and the co-
organiser(s).
9. The rules
9.1. When participating in the competitions of Montebi NV the participant accepts all rules of Montebi. All
additional announcements about the competition are considered as extra rules.
9.2. When required, Montebi NV can adapt these general terms. These terms are published on the Montebi
NV website and can be printed.
10. The Rodania Red Devils contest
The participant has to purchase during the duration of the campaign (from 1 May 2016 until 16 June 2016) a
Rodania Red Devils watch, in participating sales outlets or in the Rodania web shop www.rodaniastore.com.
There are 5 Rodania Red Devils watches: Red Devils Gents Chrono ref. 26243.26, Red Devils Gents Watch
ref. 26242.26, Red Devils Kids Watch Black ref. 26240.26, Red Devils Kids Watch White ref. 26240.50, Red
Devils Watch ref. 26241.26.
PARTICIPATION
Upon purchase at the jeweller’s he receives a card with a personal code. He can enter this code on the
website www.rodania.com/reddevils to participate.
When buying online on the website www.rodania.com/reddevils he has to enter his personal purchase order number in order to participate. He finds his order number in the confirmation email he receives after
purchase.
The participant has to enter his data on the website and he has to accept the terms and conditions of the
competition. The participant has to explain his motivation for entering the competition.
PRIZE
The participant can win 1 of the 25 duo-tickets for the Belgium-Finland game on the 1st of June 2016 in the
King Baudouin Stadium or 1 of the 25 duo-tickets for the Belgium-Norway game on 5 June 2016 in het King
Baudouin Stadium.
A jury selects the winners.
The purchase of a Rodania Red Devils watch is compulsory.
The purchase of a Rodania Red Devils watch in no way guarantees winning entrance tickets.
The winners for the first 2 competitions (the international football competition in the King Baudouin Stadium) are notified by email on Friday 27 May 2016. The winners of the signed shirts will be notified by email
on 16 June 2016.
