IGNITE FALL LEAGUE
SUNDAY KING OF THE COURT TOURNAMENT PLAY
 Matches will be 3 sets to 25 or 1 hour max time
 Teams will be set between 8-10 players; rosters will vary each week so that all players
get a chance to play with all players within their division
 Each player will be placed in a category according to their registration and are asked to
play a positon within that category so that teams are balanced. We have done our best
to respect requests, however it is possible players might have been moved into a
different category in order to balance teams.
 The three position categories are: Flyers: Outsides, Scrappers: setters and defenders,
BIGS: Middles/Opposites
 There will be 3 Intermediate teams and 5 Advanced teams.
 Each player can enter the gym and check their play schedule on the wall the first
Sunday. On that day, each player will be given a paper copy of the schedule to take
home as well.
 If a team is not currently in a match, there will be an open court with a coach to run
drills or 4v4 so that they continue to have touches on the ball during their Bi-matches.
 If a playing team is missing a rostered player, they may invite a player scheduled for a Bi
to play for the match but that substitute player will not be awarded points towards their
competition total.
 Personal player Win/Loss Points are recorded for every match a player plays in.
 After the league play, players will be placed in play-offs on Sunday October 11th. Playoff
schedules will be posted on the wall starting at 5:30 on Sunday October 11th.
 Playoffs will be determined by player ranking. Win/Loss Points will be tallied and the top
18 scoring players in each division will be placed on teams for playoff for 1st and 2nd
place.
 In the case of a tie for overall player record, point differential will decide the top 18
players.
 Awards will be given to 9 players on the winning team for 1st place in each division.
 Officials will be lightly officiating the game. They are asked to whistle for introduction
the serve, end of play and OBVIOUS rule infractions. They will also be responsible for the
coin toss, turning in rosters for points and keeping track of the scores throughout the
match.
