Once the challenge has started, the player who challenges the Elite Four will not be allowed to make changes to their team between battles other than changing the order between the six Pokémon they have already chosen. Once the challenge has started, the player will not be able to replace, remove, add, or re-order held items that their Pokémon are holding All of the above Clauses apply. This challenge is a single elimination, best-of-one challenge. If you are defeated, and wish to try again, it is considered re-entering the challenge and $5 entry fee will apply for each re-entry. Please understand that the Elite Four Challenge is not like an in-game version of the Elite Four. These teams, while still being type specialist teams, will be competitively built, just as a true Elite Four should be.
