Bristol Social Cohesion Challenge
The City of Bristol, UK, is launching an open call for
proposals to strengthen residents' shared sense of belonging
and community resilience. Successful proposals will be given
the opportunity to pilot in the city with institutional support, as
well as gain global visibility through the 100 Resilience Cities
network.

With this application, you will join a
global effort to improve the
resilience of Bristol and cities
around the world.
100 Resilient Cities, pioneered by
the Rockefeller Foundation, has
fostered a network of 100 cities and
Chief Resilience Officers (CROs) who
are dedicated to improving their city’s
resilience. By successfully answering
this challenge, your solution will gain
global exposure to CROs looking to
address social cohesion in their cities.

1) Completing your application form
We understand it is going to be hard to say everything you need to say in this space and format. Our application form is designed to help you explain your solution
clearly to the evaluating city officials and stand out in the market. Use the slides in the following way:

Introduce your solution
Explain how you will implement your solution in Bristol, and its potential to scale
Explain the impact your solution will have on sense of belonging and social cohesion in Bristol
Include supporting graphic material
Editing the slides
•Replace blue text with your answers
•Do not change pink text
•Text must remain font Arial size 12
•Do not add slides or change their order
•Images may only be inserted on the
designated slides (slides 6 to 8)
Applications that do not conform to these
instructions risk being disqualified.

Once you have completed this application form, please submit identical PDF and PowerPoint versions via www.citymart.com/100rc/socialcohesion/bristol.
The PDF version is your official application, while the PowerPoint will be used for evaluation and translation purposes.
