Five hour training
Can be held in conjunction with FMS (Fundamental
Movement Skills) course or Flag Rugby
Participants will learn how to:
Identify the social, emotional and cognitive needs of
children aged 6 to 12 in a sport setting
Apply stages of CS4L while nurturing children’s mental
health
Engage and motivate athletes
Effectively manage behaviour
Prepare children emotionally for competition and
manage feelings around winning and losing
Communicate effectively with athletes and parents
