ANNOUNCEMENTS
Kids Against Hunger: Nov 14, 2015 @ 9am in the Portland High School
gym. We will be packing meals for Kids Against Hunger. Plan to be a part
of making 20,000 meals, 15,000 of which will stay here in the Portland
Area and 5,000 will go to other children in need of a healthy meal. Kids
age 5 and up are welcome to help if accompanied by a parent. Please sign
up on the clipboard.
Upcoming Events in Children’s Ministries
Food collection for Thanksgiving will be from Nov. 1st - 21st. Also save
Nov. 22nd for packaging and distribution of collected food to families in
need this year. Pizza provided for lunch, please bring a salad or dessert to
share.
The Riverwalk thru Bethlehem will be held on Dec. 5th, 6 - 7:30 pm. Sign
up sheet will be going around. 40 - 50 people needed to participate.

LAST SUNDAY (10/25) - The visit to cheer Leta Collier & Joyce Phillips in
Sunfield ended up being an entire River Inn affair! The teens loved taking
the cookies & muffins they baked and sharing them w/ all the residents,
touring their rooms, hearing stories, then a hymn sing-a-long. What fun!
Thanks to everyone who was such a blessing.
TODAY (11/1) - Our teens are honoring God on the 1st Sun. of ea. month
by tithing their time to serve before, during, and after the a.m. service.
We’re proud of them! We’ll be training from 5 - 6:30p.m. in the FLC/Gym
for 4th Sun. iServe. See you tonight.
NEXT SUNDAY (11/8) - Sign up on the Teen Ministries board TODAY or
RSVP to [email protected] this week for the Fall Hayride at Bob
Atherton’s Farm. Please make your $5 fee payable to “Portland Nazarene”
- notation ‘Teen Hayride” and give to Theresa Iskra, the church office on
T/W/Th’s or in the Teen Ministries office mailbox. See details enclosed.
