Move in day is getting closer and closer! While we are getting everything in order for your
arrival, we want to give you a little more information about that day. PLEASE read this email in its
entirety. All the information contained is VERY important!
Check-in will begin in the lobby of 2400 Nueces at 9:00 AM on August 14th. Just a friendly
reminder, NO early move-ins will be allowed. Upon arriving on move in day, there will be several steps
to follow. The 2400 Staff will be there to direct you where to go. Remember, there will be upwards of
400 people moving in, so have patience, wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared to wait.
Step 1: Park in a temporary location (street parking or future resident parking) and come in to
get your keys. If you have a trailer or moving truck, park and unload along Seton. Normal cars park along
Nueces.
Step 2: Check in tables will be organized by last name. Someone will greet and direct you to the
appropriate table. YOU WILL NEED YOUR ID!
Step 3: If you have any items outstanding from your files you will be asked to complete them
before you are given your apartment keys. Remember, having outstanding items could hold up
the line…. And no one wants to be that person!
These items can include;
• First Rent Payment (DUE 7/15)
• Insurance
• Missing addendums or unsigned leasing forms
• Missing parking application
Step 4: After receiving your Move in packet and keys, you may move your car into the parking
garage. OPEN PARKING will exist during move in ONLY. The gates will be shut daily at 5 PM. Only
residents with parking permits displayed will be allowed to park in the garage at that point.
Please have all visitor cars removed by that time. Remember, existing residents already have
parking assignments, so if your car is in someone’s spot after 5 PM, you are at risk of being
towed.
SOMEONE PICKING UP YOUR KEYS FOR YOU???
Attached is a key pick up form that you may fill out and return to us by July 15th if you (the resident) will
be unable to collect your apartment keys. This form is for any friend or family member who will arrive
on move-in day to pick up your keys. They must bring an I.D. with them. They must turn the keys back
into the front desk after moving you in. When you arrive, you will need to stop by the front desk to fill
out a few forms. Remember, ONLY you as a resident (not guarantors) are authorized to pick up the
keys move in day unless this form is completed.
Maintenance Requests
While we do not expect any problems to occur with your apartment, If you have any requests you’d like
us to fix/look at when you move-in, we encourage you to put in a maintenance request online through
your residential portal. Our maintenance staff will be able to view the orders there. Some items will
need immediate attention. Other fix-it items will be taken care of starting September 1st in the order and
level of importance they are received!
Package Hours
There will be package pick up hours starting August 14th from 7 pm to 10 pm. The following day until
September 1st the ONLY package pick up times will be 8 am to 10 am and 7 pm to 10 pm. NO
EXCEPTIONS! Move-in will be extremely busy, we ask that you please pick up/collect any
packages/items that were delivered to our property during these times. Please remember to not ship
anything you will need immediate access to.
TOP EIGHT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT MOVE IN DAY
1. Move in will begin at 9 am 8/14…. No early move-in’s are allowed!!!
2. Be patient! There will be lines, it will be hot! We will move you through as
quickly as possible!
3. BRING A DOLLY AND TOOLS! The office will NOT offer dolly or tool rentals!!
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN!
4. Fill out the Key Release form if someone is picking up the keys for you!
(Due July 15)
5. Make sure all leasing documents are signed
6. PAY AUGUST RENT BY JULY 15th
7. Park in your assigned spot if possible. Extra spaces will be available upon
availability
8. HAVE FUN!! (We know moving isn’t fun… but let’s pretend!)
