Proudly present the 1st Annual Port Streets Invitational Helicopter Golf Ball Drop! In a joint effort of raising funds for our school and offering an exciting neighborhood event, the DEANS have created an interactive way for Andersen students to participate in earning individual and group prizes for their efforts. The concept… Students sell golf balls for $10 per ball to those interested in supporting Andersen’s financial needs. Each ball purchased will have a unique number assigned to the owner of that ball. On Friday, May 27th a helicopter will drop all of the balls from the air aiming at a specific golf flag and pin located in the middle of our fields next to the school. If your specific ball goes in the hole first you will win $1,500! The closest ball to the pin will win 1st prize of $1,000. The next closest will win 2nd prize of $750. The third closest will win 3rd prize of $500. All of the net proceeds will go directly to the Andersen DEANS non‐profit organization for the sole purpose of funding many of the programs, resources, and additional staff that are ongoing annually. Golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter on May 27th, 2016 on the fields adjacent to Andersen Elementary School
in Newport Beach, CA.
The first ball in the cup wins the Grand Prize of $1,500.
First prize is $1,000 for closest to pin. Second closest will win $750 and the third closest will win $500.
Proceeds benefit the Andersen DEANS non-profit organization.

Golf Ball Drop Rules
Andersen DEANS reserves the right to refuse to sell a “ball” to any person. The winner may be responsible for taxes
and a Form 1099 may be submitted to the IRS. The winner must sign a liability release prior to acceptance of the
grand prize. Purchase of a “ball” indicates acceptance of the rules & regulations of the “Ball Drop”. In the event of
inclement weather, the ball drop will be scheduled on the next possible business day mutually agreed upon by the
Andersen DEANS and Helistream, Inc. Distance to the hole is measured by the closest point of the ball to the rim of
the hole, as determined by the judge.
