UNLV Post Game Notes -- This marked the first meeting between the teams since 1997 -- The Rebels saw their three-game home winning streak snapped -- With the 34-24 victory, the Spartans have now won four straight against the Rebels and lead the all-time series 12-5-1 -- UNLV fell to 23-23 all-time in its Homecoming games -- UNLV senior safety Frank Crawford hauled in his fourth interception of the season. The transfer from Ole Miss now has the most picks by a Rebel since Will Chandler had five in 2010 -- The Rebels rushed for a season-low 86 net yards, finishing with less than 100 for the first time since the 2012 finale at Hawaii when UNLV had just 37 -- UNLV outscored SJSU 21-10 in the second half, which means the Rebels outscored their opponent after halftime for the sixth time in the first nine games of 2013 -- After the Spartans had 13 more first downs in the first half (18-5), the Rebels had 12 more than SJSU in the second (20-8). The final first downs tally was SJSU 26, UNLV 25 -- Senior RB Tim Cornett turned in a season-low 24 net rushing yards. It was the fewest yards gained on the ground by the school’s career leader since rushing just twice for one yard vs. UNR on Oct. 8, 2011 -- SJSU finished with just 180 passing yards, which marked the fifth time in the first nine of games of 2013 that a UNLV opponent did not reach the 200-yard mark in passing -- Although one came on a tipped pass, Caleb Herring’s two interceptions vs. SJSU marked the first time the senior tossed more than one pick in the same game since throwing three vs. Southern Utah on Sept. 24, 2011
