5 DAY COMPETITION:

• MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH 2015 PINTA SINGLES STABLEFORD
18 holes for individual players receiving full h’cap.
• TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH 2015 VILA SOL GREENSOMES STABLEFORD
18 holes for 2 players, receiving 7/16 h’cap. Both drive, choose best drive and then play alternately until holed out.
• WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH 2015 GRAMACHO SINGLES MEDAL NET
18 holes for individual players receiving full h’cap. Maximum H’cap allowance Gents - 18 / Ladies - 24
• WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH 2015 SILVES 2 PAIRS TEXAS SCRAMBLE
18 holes for teams receiving half of ¾ of the combined h’cap. The four team members are grouped in pairs, forming two
pairs, which will play in separate starting times. The result of the team is the sum of the net results of the two pairs.
• THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1ST 2015 ALTO BETTER BALL STABLEFORD
18 holes for teams of 2 players, each receiving ¾ h’cap. The best stableford points score to count at each hole.
• FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2ND 2015 PINTA & GRAMACHO TEXAS SCRAMBLE
18 holes for teams of 4 players receiving 1/10 h’cap. All players drive, choose the best drive and all play from a score
card length. Continue this until holed out, 4 drives from each player must be used during the 18 holes. Balls from fairway
to be placed. Balls played from rough to be dropped. Maximum H’cap allowance Gents-24 / Ladies-28.
H’cap will be revised during Festival Week for competitors playing below h’cap in individual
events. Handicap certification or confirmation of h’cap from home golf club will be required
for all prize winners. Players who fail to present a valid H’cap can not receive any prize.
Daily Nearest the Pin Prizes on each day of play. Gramacho hole #10 * Pinta hole #5. Silves
hole #16. Alto #11. Vila Sol #7 . Longest Drive on Friday, October 3rd – Pinta hole #18 &
Gramacho hole #18.
Results for each day will be presented 60 minutes after the last score card is returned. All prizes
will be presented at Gala Dinner, Friday, 2nd October 2015. Winners not attending will not be
entitled to receive prizes. Player of the week - The best performances over any 3 events. The
decision of the Tournament Director will be final.
NB. Players must check in with the Starter at least 10 minutes prior to their starting
time. Late arrivals and slow players will be penalised (2 shots penalty).
REFUND POLICY: Entry fee will not be refunded after entries close.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Golf Package available (Accommodation at Pestana Golf Resort)

you wish to enter. Players playing one competition only, will be placed on a waiting list and will be considered
last on the list (will play on availaibility basis only). Will not be entitled to receive goody bag.
