Error Logging
Jira Issue: MUN-183500
Purpose: To improve error logging for all Munis program formats.
Description:
Munis includes the single table [dbo].[SystemLogs] to store various system logs from Munis
Genero and .NET applications. A number of database objects supporting the .NET logging
table [dbo].[ErrorLog] are removed and the stored procedure [dbo].[usp_InsertSystemLog]
facilitates adding rows to the [dbo].[SystemLogs] table.
The Error Log (spelogmt) program is renamed System Log and is revised to support the new
data items that are logged. Specifically, the Machine Name and Type fields are added, as well
as the Context group, which displays the additional context provided by the logging process.
Depending on where the log originates, the Context group includes .NET exception
information, Genero SQLCA information, or Genero exception information. In order to provide
this information for analysis, the XML Export option exports the system logs of the current
active set of records to an XML file in the Saved Reports directory. (Note: Due to the nature of
these changes, Munis personnel recommend this program be approached from a testing
perspective.)
The error logging routines are updated to write the appropriate information to the new table.
Note: This table is cleared when upgrading so it is empty after executing the Tyler Database
Deployer.

Orders.
Options for this data access permission
are Full (can cancel or close any), None,

defined on the Data Access screen.
The default value is set according to the
value of the Maintain Others' POs. If that
permission is assigned to a user, the
Close/Cancel Posted POs value is Full; if

Jira Issue: MUN-232180
Purpose: To provide flexibility for managing the approval and forwarding processes.
Description: In the Workflow User Attributes program, the Forwarding Changes option
improves the flexibility for workflow approvals and forwarding.
The Forwarding screen provides the option to enable Selective Forwarding, allowing you to
establish forwarding for specific process codes. Using this feature, you can forward approval
items for certain process codes, while retaining the no-forwarding status for other codes. For
example, to forward only the General Billing approval items for a user, select only those
process codes. You can also elect to forward all approvals items for an approver, or you can
choose to forward all process codes.
The Workflow Automated Start/Stop Forwarding fields allow you to begin and end workflow
forwarding for specified times.

Munis Self Service (MSS)
Export
Jira Issue: MUN-212794
Purpose: To export encrypted configuration information.
Description:
An MSS export utility is available to export the encrypted configuration information in the old
XML format so it may be copied to another machine. On the System Configuration page in
MSS Hosting, the Export Host Configuration Settings group includes the Password field and
the Export Configuration button.
When you enter the password, and then click Export Configuration, the program provides the
Open/Save/Cancel options. Click Open to initiate the process. If your site is encrypted, the files
are created from the HostSettings.config file, the program reverts these files to the original file
structure and you must encrypt them again after you import the files to the new location.
Validation occurs as follows:
 Clients.xml – Validates against the data on the Client Configuration page and other hosting
pages.
 ModulesClient999.xml – Validates against the data on the Client Modules Hosting page.
 GatewayConfigurations999.xml – Validates against the data on the Payment Services
Hosting page.
 FileUploadTypes.xml – Validates contents against the data on the File Upload Restrictions
Hosting page.
 MailSettings.xml – Validates contents against the data on the System Configuration
Hosting page.

Jira Number: MUN-221870
Purpose: To facilitate the scheduling inspection process by allowing users to re-use previously
entered data and to schedule multiple inspections at one time.
Description:
For CSS-Permits and Inspections Administration, the Allow Scheduling of Previously
Performed Inspections (Copy) and Allow Multi-select Inspection Scheduling settings provide
advanced inspection scheduling options for users.
When a user selects the Remember These Values check box for his or her contact information
and the Allow Scheduling of Previously Performed Inspections (Copy) is enabled in CSSPermits and Inspections Administration, inspections that have been completed but that can be
scheduled again as a new inspection are identified on the Permits and Inspections browse
page. When the user clicks Schedule for such an inspection, the program displays the
Schedule New Copy of Inspection page with the contact details completed.
When the Allow Multi-select Inspection Scheduling is enabled and there are multiple
inspections that require scheduling, the Select Inspections for Scheduling option provides a list
of the inspections. On the Select Inspections for Scheduling page, users can identify one or
more inspections for scheduling, and then the Schedule Multiple Inspections page provides the
scheduling details for all the inspections.
